Staff Needed: One (1) Anticipated School-Based Supervisor of Science
Qualifications:
- Hold a New Jersey Supervisor's Certificate
- Hold a Master’s Degree from an accredited University; Bachelor's Degree or advanced coursework in Science
- Hold a Middle School Science Certification or Specialization in Science Certification (Biological, Earth, Physical, or Life Sciences or Physics or Chemistry)
- Must have at least five (5) years of successful experience as a teacher of Science
- Knowledgeable of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Science
- Knowledgeable of the state assessment specifications as well as AP assessments for Science
- Effective communicator who can provide professional development to science teachers in the inquiry-bnased model as well as STEM/STEAM
- Experience with STEM and STEAM components
- Must be highly organized and efficient
- Successful implementation of the Science curriculum
- Ability to interpret and assist classroom teachers with the analysis of data
- Exceptional ability in working collaboratively and collectively with other staff members to develop and plan instructional strategies in Science Instruction
- Experience with Google Workspace for Education
Salary: As Per Negotiated Contract
