Sixth Grade Teacher: St. Mary of the Assumption School
 
St. Mary of the Assumption is seeking a passionate and dedicated sixth grade ELA teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidate must foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment, maintaining good classroom management while supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development; collaborate with grade-level colleagues and support staff to meet the diverse learning needs of students; create supportive and respectful relationships with students to promote both academic and personal growth. Candidate must utilize varied instructional strategies and assessments to monitor student progress, provide ongoing feedback and maintain accurate gradebooks in a timely manner, and communicate regularly and effectively with parents to support student success. Candidate must participate actively in faculty meetings, school events, and committees.
 
Applicants must have the following qualifications: Hold a valid Ohio teaching license with appropriate certification to teach 6th-8th grades, ability to successfully pass background check through FBI and BCI, hold or be willing to obtain VIRTUS certification, and must comply with all school, state, and diocesan requirements.
