Description
Full time (40 hours)
Assists the physical therapist, students, teachers, parents, and school staff in supporting students' IEP gross motor and physical activity goals. The Physical Therapy Assistant helps develop in each student an understanding of the relationship between movement, exercise, and school function; encourages physical fitness and social-emotional growth; supports skill development for strength, coordination, and participation in inclusive physical activities including but not limited to Unified Sports and Special Olympics, following IEP specifications.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Preferred: One or more years of experience working with school-aged children in an educational or therapeutic setting.
Associate’s Degree or higher in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
Active Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy PTA license.
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
