BASIC FUNCTION/PURPOSE
Student Council exists to develop attitudes of and practice in good citizenship, promote good relationships throughout the entire school, improve student/teacher relationships, improve school morale, improve school image, assist in the management of school activities, provide a forum for student expression, provide students with leadership training, and promote the general welfare of the High School.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- To facilitate communication between the student body and administration.
- Recruit and enlist officers and members.
- Facilitate new officer elections by mid-April.
- Mentor officers.
- Organize and supervise School activities to include but not limited to: fall homecoming, winter spirit week, daily spirit activities, filly football, student vs. staff athletic event, hall and door decorating contest), voting coronation, and the dance.
- Organize and supervise Club and organization functions
- Mediate Seminar Senate meetings.
- Organize and supervise fundraising activities.
- Summer camp registration and transportation.
- Plan and attend Leadership activities.
- Accurately maintain all financial records.
- Other Activities approved by building administrators.

Salary Range: Extra Pay/Extra Duty Schedule
Evaluation Frequency: Job performance will be evaluated at the end of each school year.
