At the present time, we are hiring for Four (4) seasonal workers.

LOCATION:

The incumbent in this position will report to and work out of our West Chester, PA campus. 

  • Our main campus location is located in West Chester: "An active university town, nestled in the heart of the Brandywine Valley just 30 minutes from Wilmington and 45 minutes from Center City Philadelphia, downtown West Chester Pennsylvania reflects the small-town charm and cosmopolitan tastes that prompted The Philadelphia Inquirer to call West Chester “.  one of the world’s most perfect small towns.”


Summary of Position
This position provides hands-on support across multiple departments. Summer workers will assist with tasks such as organizing materials, filing, light maintenance and landscaping, as well as shipping/receiving and basic technology assistance. It’s an ideal opportunity for students to gain valuable workplace experience while contributing to the success of their community. 

Essential Job Responsibilities
Summer workers will be assigned daily tasks across several departments based on current school needs. Work areas may include the Business Office/Warehouse, Facilities, Technology, and broader school operations. 
The duties listed below are examples of work that may be performed within different areas of school operations. Daily duties may vary and ultimately duties will be assigned by the immediate supervisor. 

Business Office & Warehouse
  • File, digitize, and organize documents.
  • Assist the Business Administrator and Staff with daily office operations.
  • Assist with inventory management, organizing supplies, and receiving shipments.
  • Prepare items for shipping and fulfill materials requests.
Facilities
  • Support light maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
  • Assist with landscaping, including pulling weeds, mulching, and general groundskeeping.
Technology
  • Help inventory, organize, and label devices and other technology assets.
  • Assist with setup and basic troubleshooting of student and staff devices. 
General School Operations
  • Assist other areas or departments as needed in general office related tasks. 
  • Support school events and other special projects as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or current High School Student.
1-3 years experience in a related field.

Candidates under the age of 18, if hired, will need to provide the following on or before the first day of employment:
                                    - Working papers
                                    - PA State Police clearance
                                    - PA Child Abuse clearance

Candidates over the age of 18, if hired, will need to provide the following on or before the first day of employment:
                                   - PA State Police clearance
                                   - PA Child Abuse clearance
                                   - FBI fingerprint clearance

Skills and Abilities
Language Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret financial reports, legal documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. 
Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts with a high degree of accuracy in the performance of routine assignments. 
Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to apply sound judgment to resolve conflicts and solve problems.
Other Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to perform routine office work utilizing office software
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff.

Schedule:
Temporay: June 4, 2025- August 15, 2025
Monday-Thursday
7.5 hours/day

Hourly Rate:
$15.00 /hr
