Social Worker/Behavior Interventionist, 1.0 FTE - Hutchinson, MN

Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a Social Worker/Behavior Interventionist for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond.  

This position will service students at Park Elementary. Candidates should be appropriately licensed/certified through Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) or contact the district for licensing options. Ideal candidates will hold LICSW or LSW credentials. The salary range for this position is $47,852.00 per year - $89,129.00 per year. Salary is dependent upon education and experience. This position will work 183 days per year, 8 hours per day.  

Responsibilities to include:

• provide individual and small-group support to students with social, emotional, and behavioral issues
• provide Tier 2 & 3 support to students identified through the school wide PBIS system of support
• provide service in social skills to students identified in special education 
• support students and classrooms in positive behavior strategies
• collaborate with parents regarding behavior and attendance
• co-lead our pre-referral behavior intervention process in collaboration with principal,  licensed counselor, and special education team
• complete the collection, analysis, and reporting of information about school wide PBIS system of support
• complete reporting requirements for Alternative Delivery System of Support (ADSIS)

Park Elementary School is located near downtown Hutchinson and serves 400 students in fourth and fifth grade.
