JOB DESCRIPTION – Paraprofessional- CTE
TITLE: Paraprofessional- CTE FTE: 0.875 |
FLSA STATUS: Non Exempt HOURS PER DAY: 7
WORK CALENDAR: 195 days
COMPENSATION: Classified Non Exempt Compensation Guide (Starting at $17.70/hour)

Education / Certificate
1. Associate of Arts degree or paraprofessional certification required
2. Must have OSHA 10 safety card within 45 days of hire
3. Must be eligible to obtain district driver’s license to be able to drive district vehicles
4. Must have and maintain a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
Experience
1. Prior experience working with Career and Technical Education students desired
2. Must possess knowledge and experience in construction (masonry, electrical, framing, plumbing, roofing, etc.)
3. Must be 21 years of age or older upon hire
Communication Skills
1. Must have good speaking, reading and writing skills
2. Must possess positive attitude toward students, teachers, staff and parents/guardians
3. Bilingual communication is beneficial
Computer Skills
1. Knowledge of Google Suites
2.Must possess basic computing and clerical skills
