INSTRUCTIONAL COACH
EARLY HEAD START (EHS)
2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR

SUMMARY: The Leaguers, Incorporated is seeking a Full-time Early Head Start Instructional Coach for its Infant/Toddler Early Head Start Program.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

The Early Head Start Instructional Coach provides knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations to ensure compliance and minimize the risk of accidents, injuries, and illnesses in the workplace. They use their experience in EHS compliance and management to provide training and coaching to employees on safety procedures and best practices, and investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective actions. The EHS Instructional Coach uses their collaboration skills to work closely with management and employees to continuously improve the safety culture of the organization.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in supervising Early Head Start teaching staff members;
  • Responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with all environmental, health, and safety regulations;
  • Work closely with management and employees to develop and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures that promote a safe and healthy work environment; 
  • Minimize the risk of accidents, injuries, and illnesses in the workplace. As an EHS Coach, you will use your strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to develop and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures that promote a safe and healthy work environment;
  • Develop and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations;
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks;
  • Provide training and coaching to employees on safety procedures and best practices;
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective actions;
  • Collaborate with management and employees to continuously improve the safety culture of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MUST have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field;
  • 3+ years of experience in EHS compliance and management;
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations;
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
