We are seeking a Certified Teacher who is dedicated, compassionate, and ready to bring their expertise and heart into a school that values innovation, support, and collaboration.What You’ll Do
- Develop and adapt weekly lesson plans and instructional materials that promote critical thinking and address the diverse academic needs of students.
- Maintain accurate student records, prepare grades and progress reports, and use technology tools to track and communicate academic performance.
- Write and implement IEPs and Behavior Intervention/Modification Plans, and deliver individualized or small group instruction to support student learning and growth.
- Collaborate with staff and parents, manage classroom environments, and provide both academic and social-emotional support to students.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid NJDOE Instructional Certificate.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience managing a classroom preferred, ideally with students with autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention issues and/or other developmental disabilities.
- Working knowledge of effective teaching methods and age-appropriate activities.
- Proficiency in using innovative instructional strategies and technology to enhance student learning.
