Mechanical Services Technician (HVAC) -1.0 FTE (100%)-Facilities

The Appleton Area School District has a position available for a 1.0 FTE (100%) Mechanical Services (HVAC) Mechanic at Facilities and Operations beginning as soon as possible.

Under the direction of the Director of Facilities and Operations and the Mechanical Services Crew Leader, the Mechanical Services Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance and repair functions associated with the District’s preventative maintenance program for the mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration and boiler systems and components of the mechanical systems. The basic work week of full-time employees will be eight (8) hours per day, forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, first or second shift, subject to the right of the Department Head to schedule overtime work.

Salary: Class IC "Tradesperson": $29.70-$31.87/hour or Class IB "Journeyman at Trade":  $31.26-$33.43/hour


Schedule: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (M-F) 40 hours/week
