Executive Director—Bilingual Education, Translation Interpretation and Community Outreach (7476)

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree in Bilingual Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or Administration.
2. Valid New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) PK – 12 Administrative License
3. Knowledge of current research and best practices regarding EL students.
4. Knowledge of programs and support for bilingual and immigrant students.
5. NM Bilingual or TESOL endorsement or equivalent certification

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience working in an administrative/supervisory capacity.
2. Understanding of federal and state statutes and regulatory requirements in the area of English Language Learners.
3. Understanding of program evaluation and data analysis
4. Bilingual and Bi-literate in English and Spanish; able to proficiently read and write in both languages.
