Description

Applications are being accepted for the position of Nail Technician Instructor for our Main St Campus location (1601 W Main Street,  Mesa, AZ 85201) . This position will work Monday to Friday 7:30-4:00.

Position Summary: Under general supervision the Nail Technician Instructor will  prepare students to turn creativity into a career in the beauty industry. From manicures and pedicures to nail art and salon services, students learn the techniques needed to provide clients with relaxing, high-quality nail care. The program covers industry trends, hygiene standards, and business essentials, preparing students for careers in salons, spas, and nail studios. With hands-on training, students gain the confidence and expertise to succeed as a nail technician.

Job Type: Part Time, 10 Month Calendar
 
Salary: $50,651.00 - $84,636.03 Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Arizona Barbering and Cosmetology Board Instructor License in either Nail Technology or Cosmetology.
  • Ability to obtain an Arizona Department of Education Secondary or Career & Technical Education (CTE) Certification in the area of Industrial and Emerging Technologies https://www.azed.gov/educator-certification/forms-and-information/certificates
  • Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
