2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR - ELEMENTARY SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER - TENURE TRACK ELIGIBLE

Qualifications:

• Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification
• Teacher of the Handicapped certification
• Elementary School Teacher K-6 Certificate

Responsibilities:

• Provide coordination and leadership in the classroom
• Demonstrate knowledge of effective teaching methods & developmentally appropriate classroom activities
• Implement appropriate accommodations and modifications as per student IEP
• Completion of progress monitoring for IEP goals and objectives
• Deliver individualized and group instruction and other educational objectives 
• Collaborate with other professionals
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills
