Summer School Teachers: Grades 6-8 ESL Teacher(s)

Greenwich Public Schools seeks Grades 6-8 ESL teacher(s) for its 2025 Summer School program.

• The Secondary Summer School will be located at Western Middle School, and will run from June 30 through August 7, Mondays through Thursdays. Grades 6-8 ESL teachers will work 8:15-11:15 a.m., which includes 30 minutes of planning time.
• Grades 6-8 ESL teachers must be certified in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Grades PreK-12 (#111).
• Compensation for all hours will be at the individual teacher's hourly per diem rate as based on the Agreement between the Greenwich Board of Education and the Greenwich Education Association.
• Positions are dependent on student enrollment.
• Preference will be given to Greenwich Public Schools teachers contracted for the 2025-26 school year, and then to other Greenwich Public Schools benefits-eligible employees.
