POSITION:

School Store Specialist (Part time)

LOCATION:

Edina High School

SUMMARY: With the focus to support and advance the Edina Public Schools’ mission, vision and core values, the School Store Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Activities Director in all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, staffing, inventory, and visual merchandising. The School Store Specialist actively contributes to identifying and recommending branded merchandise that aligns with the preferences of the store’s customer base and presents informed product suggestions.

RATE OF PAY:

The wage for this position ranges from $25.95 to $30.46 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. New hires will typically start at the entry-level rate within the wage range, while candidates with relevant experience may be placed at a higher starting rate.These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, in consideration of the individual’s experience and the school district’s budget.

20 hours

DAILY SCHEDULE:

M-F 8:00 AM - 12:00PM 

DAYS PER YEAR:

12 month position

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of work experience required.
  • Position will require some evening hours to support during special events, such as:
    • Back to School events - Get Connected Day
    • Homecoming Week 
    • Seasonal evening hours coordinated with home evening events.
    • Pre-Winter Break evening hours in December
