Instructional Assistant for 2025-26 School Year
Description
District 27 is looking for multiple motivated, energetic, and student-centered educators to work with students with IEPs in a classroom setting for the 2025-26 school year. Northbrook School District 27 is a professional learning community made up of approximately 1300 students across three schools educating students to succeed in a changing world. There are currently needs at Hickory Point School (grades PK-2), Shabonee School (grades 3-5), and Wood Oaks Junior High (grades 6-8). There are also multiple opportunities available to earn extra money through supervision before, during, and after school. A bachelor's degree or greater is preferred, as is a teaching or substitute license. Hourly rate is established based on experience, but degreed candidate rates start at $21/hr. Access to health care is available as a cost-shared benefit with the Board of Education. This position comes with access to two personal business days and eleven sick days.
