Reading Interventionist

Beach Park School District #3 is now seeking a dedicated and experienced ELA Interventionists for Newport Elementary.
Essential Functions:

• Is creative, innovative and exhibits enthusiasm.
• Holds high expectations for all, is flexible and can collaborate with others.
• Builds student success into their class through a growth mindset.
• Displays professionalism at all times as a role model for our students.
• Delivers reports and paperwork critical to tracking student performance and school compliance.
• Serves as the guardian of our school mission, core values, and culture

• Illinois Teaching Certification with appropriate Endorsement
• Ability to Work Collaboratively with Teachers, Students, Parents, and Community Members
• Must like kids, be positive, be flexible, be supportive, and understand the need to work closely with parents
• Must be student-centered, use multiple techniques to diversify instruction
• Must be a reflective-thinker, comfortable with taking risks, tenacious, accept constructive criticism, and have a desire to learn and improve
• Must treat students with respect, keep students engaged, put students at the center of the work, can handle difficult students and problems on their own.
• Must be able to work with others, willing to share, can go with the flow, and is respectful of others ideas.
