Pay Range: State Teacher Salary + [8.5% - 16% local supplement]
Position Purpose: This position has a renown tradition in the community, state and nation for the FFA program. The tradition of the FFA State Championships is an intragral part of our Enka-Candler and Hominy Valley communities. The teacher will be responsible for the curriculum and continuing the FFA tradition along with the other Agricultural Teacher. Enka High School facilities are top teir with two shops and a classroom, in addition to the teacher receiving unwaivering support from school administration and County personnel. Under the general supervision of the School Principal and CTE Director, the Agricultural Mechanics Teacher will develop, coordinate, and follow the Career and Technical Education (CTE) curriculum while empowering students to be successful citizens, workers and leaders in a global economy. All programs in Career and Technical Education are designed to contribute to the broad educational achievement of students through focus on the following attributes: Identify, organize, plan, and allocate resources – time, money, materials and facilities, and human resources through the North Carolina Agricultural Three Circle Model.

Minimum Degree Level: Bachelor's Degree (click here for more info about Master's pay) Alternative Licensed Pathways: If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1-year Emergency License and later work with you to convert this to a Residency License. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 18 semester hours of relevant coursework
- 2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
- Ability to produce an official, degree dated transcript from an accredited university
- Former Lateral Entry license candidates are eligible to apply
