High School Special Education Self-Contained Teacher
2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR

Qualifications:

• Candidates must hold a New Jersey Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification; 
• Experience in a self-contained school setting preferred;
• Demonstrate knowledge of NJSLA and effective teaching methods;
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support individualized student goals;
• Experience with educational technology and Google Platform;
• Experience with positive behavioral supports;
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Ability to use assessment data to inform and differentiate instruction;
• Must complete a criminal history background check.

This is a 10-month position with compensation and benefits based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Red Bank Regional Education Association.
