Job Title: Director of Multi-Tiered System of Supports and Extended Day Programs

Key Responsibilities:
MTSS Leadership:
- Oversee and coordinate Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions and acceleration strategies on both ends of the MTSS diamond
- Collaborate with school leaders and teachers to implement effective MTSS practices, including monitoring program usage of interventions and supporting teachers with implementation.
- Oversee the Social-Emotional Behavioral Committee within the MTSS framework, including working with PBIS Specialists to develop Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions.
- Monitor student progress and make data-driven decisions to adjust interventions as needed.
- Triangulate academic data with student attendance and behavioral data.
- Conduct regular data reviews and evaluations of intervention and acceleration programs, sharing findings with the Assistant Superintendent, Director of Language Learners and Director of Special Education.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of Advanced Academic Cluster Teachers, Reading and Math Interventionists, and Acceleration Support Teachers.
- Provide professional development and coaching to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate after school programming by acting as a liaison between third party providers and district staff
- Recruiting participation for after school enrichment and maintaining rosters of participants
- Serving as the administrator on-site for after school programming, including maintaining records for attendance and timesheets.
- Plan and implement academic and fine arts summer school, including hiring summer school staff, contracting with third-party vendors, identifying and recruiting students for participation.

- Coordinate grade-level communication through ParentSquare to share home learning opportunities and support curricular units.
- Connect families with resources to support learning and enrichment at home and in the community.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, training events, and learning opportunities for families to meaningfully engage in their children's education.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in education or related field, administrative credential required
- Proven experience in MTSS implementation and leadership, including advanced or accelerated learning
- Strong understanding of instructional strategies and assessment practices for all (e.g. Students receiving Special Education Services, Advanced Learners, and Language Learners)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, families, and community partners
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation

- Other duties as assigned
- Base salary from $92,000 per year.
