 Reports to: Director of Buildings and Grounds

Job Summary: To provide staff and students with an attractive, comfortable and safe environment in which to work and learn.

 General
Responsibilities:
  1. Performs administrative functions such as typing, filing, data entry, and maintaining detailed records
  2. Compile, classify, collate and organize information. Maintains electronic, paper records and reports for inventory control and warehouse receiving.           
  3. Performs duties related to the ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing of all district supplies.
  4. Contact vendors for formal quotes and delivery information
  5. Performs physical count of all district physical assets and records all findings, changes, and physical locations into a computerized inventory system.
  6. Provide clear spoken and written information to other district staff and administrators regarding the status of orders and/or inventory processes.
  7. Receives shipments, checks quantity against purchase orders, and stores materials or delivers items to other district locations.
  8. Possesses ability to walk, bend, stoop, lift 50 pounds repetitively, climb ladders, and operate warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack)
  9. Possesses knowledge of the principles and practices of warehousing
  10. Possesses knowledge of inventory methods and procedures.
  11. Other duties as assigned. 
 
Qualifications:
1. Education level- A high school diploma or equivalent
2. Certification or Licensure -Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver’s license
3. Other requirements – Must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the Board of Education. Excellent organizational skills, oral and written skills, time management, and telephone skills. Computer knowledge and assistive technology.
4. Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions - Requires prolonged sitting and standing; requires stooping, bending, reaching and lifting; requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials; must work in stressful and hectic environments; requires the ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions; may require some travel; requires physical and emotional endurance; must be able to work long and irregular hours; and requires regular and consistent attendance and physical presence at the job.
