Description: Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a special education paraprofessional at Harambee Elementary to provide program support to elementary-age students who receive Special Education services. This position works 6 hours per day starting August 26, 2025. Harambee Elementary currently operates on a year-round calendar and will continue to do so for the 2025-26 school year. Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, Harambee will switch to the 9-month calendar in alignment with the rest of the school district.

Responsible To: Building Principal, Nathan Meyer
Required Qualifications: Special Education paraprofessionals must possess 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits of study from an institution of higher education or an AA, AS, AAS (or higher) degree, OR must provide a passing score on the MN ParaPro Test or ParaEducator Assessment. (To take a Parapro Test, visit The ParaPro Assessment or call 1-800-772-9476; to take the ParaEducator Assessment, visit the Bright Works website - test is paid for at the employee’s expense.)
Compensation: Starting salary range is $17.95- $20.25 per hour, plus a district contribution toward insurance. Special Education paraprofessionals have the opportunity to earn an additional $2.00 per hour for completing online district Special Education training.
