POTENTIAL: Integrated Social Studies -- Champion Local Schools

POSITION:                          

• Social Studies – High School Teacher                                      
• Champion High School – Grades 9-12

•  Valid Ohio teaching license/certification in Adolescent to Young Adult (7-12) Integrated Social Studies (or eligibility to obtain one).
•  Student teaching experience or equivalent classroom experience at the high school level.
•  Strong knowledge of social studies curriculum frameworks and Ohio’s Learning Standards for Social Studies.
•  Demonstrated ability to develop and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans.
•  Experience using a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to enhance learning.
•  Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
•  Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
•  Knowledge of assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
•  Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for social studies education.
