SUMMARY:
The CTE Pathway Advisor will work collectively with GFPs and community partners to develop and strengthen pathways specific to CTE Education and Workforce Development.
JOB DUTIES:
? Able to communicate and educate the district and larger community about CTE Cluster/Pathways
? Work with local leaders and legislators around legislation that will impact CTE education
? Writing, monitoring, and reporting on the Perkins and CTE-related accreditation processes
? Oversee and monitor CTE departments and meet regularly with department chairs at the school- level
? Enhance CTE educational opportunities at the elementary level
? Report to the Board of Trustees on CTE education, in an annual report
? Monitor and support Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO) advisors and associated activities/trips
? Work with industry partners/champions, including the military, to set up job shadows, internships, and pre-apprenticeships
? Work with GFPS Curriculum director to align standards and dual enrollment criteria
? Where applicable, facilitate MOU’s with community and post-high school partners
? Work directly with the Industrial Technology Pathway Advisor (GFC-MSU) to provide comprehensive experiences for all IT Pathway students in high school
? Represent GFPS on Bridging Opportunities committee
? Directly work with GFC-MSU, UP, and Touro CTE directors
? Work with Executive Directors on grants associated with CTE education
? Work with the curriculum director to provide high-quality PIR opportunities that highlight CTE, including externship opportunities for teachers
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
? Background check, required
? Valid Montana Teaching License required
? CTE endorsement preferred
? Experience teaching in a CTE field, preferred
? Knowledge of CTE Cluster/Pathways
? CTE-related legislation/funding knowledge
EMPLOYMENT: 2025-2026 school year
SALARY: $40,701-$66,821 (2024/2025 salary schedule)
