Position Details
Wellington Exempted Village Schools (Lorain County) seeks a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our coaching staff as our Head Varsity Wrestling Coach and leader of the Wrestling Program.This position will have the ability to hire a Varsity Assistant(s), Girls Head Coach, and influence on the Middle School Coaching staff selection.

Essential Qualifications

• Valid or pending Ohio Pupil Activity Permit
• Successul previous coaching at the high school level
• Comfortability working with both male and female athletes

• Extensive knowledge of the sport of wrestling
• Ability to align youth organizations with the high school program
• Teaching experience
• Experience with collaboration between boosters and community members

• Position starts at the beginning of the 2025-26 school year, but summer programming and preseason workouts are expected.
• Compensation is based upon years of experiencel and the WES collective bargaining agreement (available on the district website).
