Job Summary:
This position is a Supervisor of Bilingual/ ESL and World Languages
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Department of Education Bilingual, ESL or World Lanaguage Certification
- New Jersey Certificate – Supervisor
- Demonstrated communication skill
- Demonstrated leadership talent and abilities
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in school or district level administration preferred
- Minimum of four (4) years successful experience in teaching
- Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards for curriculum, assessment and instruction
- Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods
- Prior experience working with teachers, students and families and ELA/ Humanities themes
- Ability to work harmoniously in a multicultural, diverse community
- Strong interpersonal and communication skill
- Have the ability to implement, develop and evaluate Bilingual, ESL and World Language programs
- Must have the ability to read, write and speak English effectively
- Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. Citizenship or legal resident alien status
