Summer Maintenance Workers - Summer 2025

The Mt. Lebanon School District is accepting applications for Summer Maintenance Workers for Summer 2025.

Summer Maintenance workers are seasonal, part-time employees of the Facilities Department, who perform custodial and  maintenance tasks throughout the buildings & grounds of the District's school campuses.
Teens Welcome! Ages 16 and Up

EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION:

• $12.00 or more per hour - based on experience
• Most positions are 30 - 32 Hours Per Week, Monday through Thursday with a 30 minute daily unpaid lunch.
• No evenings or weekends
• Starting dates will vary, depending on individual availability

REQUIREMENTS:

• If you are hired for a position you will receive a follow up letter with instructions on completing the employment forms.  Instructions for the following clearances will be included with the forms packet.
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34) 
  • FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114)

There is a processing fee for all 3 clearances.  In order to assist you in reducing your financial obligation in securing these clearances, the Mt. Lebanon School District will reimburse you 50% of the total processing fees for obtaining these clearances after completion of 100 hours of work.

• A pre-employment physical is required, including a negative Tuberculosis (TB) test result prior to starting work.
