1st Grade Dual Language Teacher (Spanish)

The First Grade Dual Language teacher is responsible for developing lesson plans and delivering engaging, differentiated instruction that is aligned with the curriculum through an interisciplinary and biliterate approach.  The one-way dual language program focuses on the ultimate goal that all students are bilingual, bicultural, and biliterate upon the completion of the program. The dual language teacher will follow guidelines set by the state of Illinois law and board policy.  Qualified applicants must hold a valid PEL with Elementary Education endorsement and Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement.  Candidates who are fluent in both Spanish and English are preferred.
