Description: The Long Term Substitute provides students with academic, social, and emotional well-being. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators to ensure a supportive learning environment and student success.

Reporting Structure: Reports to building administration. May receive additional guidance from the DIrector of Student services. 
Qualifications: 

• Licensed by the State Board
• School Social Worker Endorsement

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborates with colleagues to use student learning data from common assessments to adjust instruction, monitor student growth, and evaluate instructional practices
• Demonstrates mastery in their instructional plans and practices, integrating a wide range of effective pedagogical approaches
• Demonstrates extensive knowledge of content and pedagogy, and models adaptation of content to meet specific student needs
• Creates a positive, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment
• Interacts with students in a mutually respectful and caring manner
• Effectively manages classroom procedures, and actively engages students in meeting clear behavior expectations
• Demonstrates well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with all stakeholders
• Exhibits integrity, leadership, and professionalism as a positive member of the school community
• Facilitate the district’s efforts to assure educational equity and academic success for all students.
• Demonstrates flexibility and dependability

Daily Rate:  $302.69
