Description

Part-Time Summer Driving Teacher

Location: James H. Groves Adult High School, Red Clay Center
50 Hillside Rd. Wilmington, DE 19807

Overview: The Red Clay Adult Education Center’s summer driving program is looking for driver education teachers to drive students through the months of June, July and August.
Weekly Hours: TBD
Schedule: As determined by Lead Driving Teacher
Position Description: Applicants will work with the lead driving teacher to provide the required driving hours for summer driving students.

General Responsibilities:

Must hold or be eligible for a State of Delaware Teacher Certification-Driver Education and Traffic Safety Education.
Knowledge of defensive driving curriculum.
Must be able to stand and work continuously for a minimum of 4 hours per work day.
Maintain accurate records.
Must be dependable and commit to faithful job attendance.
Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $33.00 an hour

Required Certificate(s): State of Delaware Driver and Traffic Safety Education
