Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage activities registration process for all co-curricular activities at MMW.
- Issue Refunds/Cancellations under guidance of Activities Coordinator.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Enforce all rules of the Minnesota State High School League and Minnetonka Public School District Policies as they pertain to the respective enrichment activity.
- Enter Sports Physicals into Skyward/Affinety database systems.
- Set up New Activities in Affinety database system.
- Support families with registration challenges.
- Oversee scholarships and registration processes for scholars.
- Manually register students via counselors' requests.
- Collaborate open/close dates and maximum capacities with advisors/coaches and Activities Coordinator.
- Communicate with families and students regarding registration and basic activities questions.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Has knowledge of key technological tools: Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Forms), Affinety, Skyward, and Schoology.
- Understanding of and agreement with the Minnetonka Public School District's Student Activity and Athletic Code and the Coaches/Advisors Handbook.
- Knowledge of State, Federal and Minnetonka Public School Board Policies regarding student conduct and appropriate disciplinary action.
- Evidence of the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coaches/advisors, supervisor, families, and students.
- Ability to receive work direction.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills. Able to work independently.
- Physical ability to perform essential job functions.
Compensation:
$16.60 per hour
Not medical or dental benefit eligible.
