Description

Are you ready to make a real difference?

At The Phoenix Center, we believe that every child who walks through our doors has a gift—and every team member plays a vital role in helping that gift shine. As our School Nurse, you’ll be a trusted presence and advocate, ensuring students’ health needs are met with skill, compassion, and dignity.

As featured on News12, USA Today, and in Autism Parenting Magazine, The Phoenix Center is a highly respected, private, not-for-profit, state-accredited school serving students with autism and significant developmental disabilities from ages 5–21. We’re known not just for our programs, but for our people—and for the individualized, life-centered approach we bring to everything we do.

Our mission is to care for, educate, and empower our students so they can develop skills to live meaningful, independent lives beyond the classroom. As our School Nurse, you’ll be an essential part of that mission—working across teams, supporting student well-being, and accompanying students during community-based instruction and off-campus learning experiences.

Our culture is guided by the FISH! Philosophy—we choose our attitude, are present with one another, make someone’s day, and have fun along the way. That’s part of why 56% of our staff have been with us for 5+ years—and why joining our team means becoming part of something truly special.

If you’re looking for meaningful work in a school that values connection, collaboration, and whole-child care, we’d love to meet you.
