Teaching Assistant: Early Childhood Assistant - Bilingual

Terms of Employment:
Work Year: 10 months
Hours Per Day: 7.0 
Start/End Times: 8:20a - 3:50p
Compensation: Teaching Assistant - Type 2, $19.50 - $21.00 (Like experience considered)
Participates in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) pension fund (reciprocal pension with TRS)
Eligible for paid holidays, time off benefits, and medical/dental insurance benefits
Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish preferred
Location may change based on the needs of student

Job Summary:
Provide support to students within a preschool setting to support student’s learning, socialization, safety, mobility, and behavioral needs.

Qualifications:
ELS (PARA) License (formerly Paraprofessional approval) required.
Oral and written fluency in both Spanish and English languages preferred.
