POSITION: Construction Instructor
REPORTS TO: Director of High School
STARTING DATE: 2025-2026 School Year
SALARY: TBD - Based on Experience and Salary Schedule
WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time / 185 day
JOB OBJECTIVE: Auburn Career Center is currently seeking a qualified Construction Instructor to provide expertise, instructional support and training to our highschool students. Knowledge in general carpentry, masonry, trim and finishing, residential wiring and plumbing. Works collaboratively with students, parents, support staff and administration. Develops and implements lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of five (5) years of general trades experience
- Candidate must have a valid State Board of Education Licensure or ability to obtain
- OSHA Certified
- Teaching or commercial training experience or certification preferred
- Perform other duties as assigned
