Long Term Substitute Special Education Classroom Aide - High School - MAR-APR

The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for the position of Long Term Substitute Special Education Classroom Aide at Mt. Lebanon High School.

This is a full-time, on-site, temporary position working 7 hours per day (plus a 30 minute unpaid lunch), Monday through Friday, beginning March 5, 2025, through a date to be determined, anticipated between 2 and 6 weeks.

Special Education Classroom Aides assist in the academic, social/emotional, and behavioral development of the students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEP's), and provide clerical support for instructional activities and clerical functions in the classroom. 
Responsibilities vary, and often include:

• Engaging directly with students, teachers, administrative, and special education department personnel
• Providing instructional and behavioral supports to individual students, small groups, and the classroom at large
• Performing clerical support functions like organizing and adapting materials, and recording observation and performance data

This assignment will be paid at a daily substitute rate of $110.74.
There are no benefits or paid time off associated with this substitute placement.
