ADMINISTRATIVE VACANCY
Director of Human Resources
The Director of Human Resources leads and directs the efforts of a human resources team that provides exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. The Director of Human Resources provides leadership, vision, and strategic direction for the District's human resources systems, procedures and processes including recruitment, selection, on-boarding, certification, benefits, compensation, labor relations, negotiations, retention, compliance, federal and state reporting, data systems, investigations, leave management, and performance management. The Director serves as the District’s Title IX Coordinator and as the Secretary of the School Board.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business/Public Administration, or related area
SHRM-SCP Certification preferred
Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in Human Resources management preferred, preferably in public education
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated success in task organization and record keeping
Experience in policy and contract interpretation
Knowledge of Federal and State Labor Guidelines
Knowledge of Pennsylvania School Code
