Title I Reading Teacher

Duties:

• Provide small group reading instruction.
• Progress monitor students.
• Use student data to select appropriate reading interventions.
• Monitor student proficiency to assess the effectiveness of interventions and make timely appropriate adjustments. 
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Maintain accurate and updated records of student performance. 
• Communicate with parents.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• PEL endorsed for Reading Specialist

We are a Prek-4 building serving 270 students. Our average class size is 18. Small group instruction for reading interventions range from 2-6 students in 30 minute time increments. Our school is well-organized on the 5Essentials framework and for the past 2 years we have placed among the top 40% of elementary schools in the state of Illinois.
