Job Type: On-Call / As Needed

Job Summary:

Sandridge SD 172 is seeking dedicated and reliable Substitute Teachers to provide instructional support and maintain a positive learning environment in the absence of regular classroom teachers. This role is essential in ensuring continuity of learning and upholding the school’s educational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Manage student behavior and ensure a safe, positive classroom environment.
• Follow school policies, procedures, and schedules.
• Take attendance and report any incidents or concerns to school administration.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet students' needs as necessary.
• Maintain a professional and respectful rapport with students, staff, and parents.

Qualifications:

• (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Valid state teaching certification or substitute teaching license. Retirees encouraged to apply
• Previous teaching or childcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt as needed.
• Dependable and punctual with a professional attitude.
