Paraprofessional

High school graduate; Must hold the Educator License with Stipulations for Paraprofessionals - ELS (PARA); Ability to work closely with the classroom teacher and assist with instruction and supervision of students; Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, use of email and Google Suite applications; Ability to use independent judgment and demonstrate initiative to act in accordance with established policies and regulations; Ability to follow oral and written directions; Some knowledge of the field of child development and some knowledge of student behavior management techniques; Able to serve as a role model for students by demonstrating a positive attitude and effective work ethic; Exhibits positive interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively with students, staff, administrators, and parents; Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
