District Interventionist 
 

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in education, and or a related field preferred
2. Relevant experience in education and providing interventions
3. Successful professional experience in guidance-related activities with at-risk students.
4. Relevant experience in education.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Knowledge of local community resources and support services.
7. Understanding of the challenges facing at-risk youth.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping students succeed.
10. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
11. Bilingual skills in English/Spanish preferred.
12. Required passing results of criminal history background check by NJ Department of Education.
13. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
