Cook Assistant - Hutchinson, MN

Hutchinson Public School District is looking for team players to join us for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond as Cook Assistants in our kitchens.  

The Cook Assistant will perform a variety of duties relative to the assigned kitchen of responsibility under the direction of the supervisor. This position will maintain food service facilities in a clean and sanitary condition. The salary range for this position is $17.86 per hour - $20.36 per hour. Salary is dependent upon education and experience.

Hours: 

• Monday - Friday, 171 days of the school year

• Cashier and food service experience is preferred in this position.
• Customer service skills are very essential to this position.
• Ability to work with others as a team is required as teamwork is crucial to the efficiency of the kitchens.

• • Up to $50 per year to obtain and maintain Level I, II, or III food service certification.

• Must be able to complete ServSafe, attain Food Protection Manager’s certificate and SNA level training. Ample time is provided to attain certifications.
