Job Summary:
The position is for an Athletic Trainer at Abraham Clark High School for the 2024-2025 school year.
Qualifications:
- Appropriate NJDOE ceritfication as Athletic Trainer
- Familiar with Common Core Standards.
- Comprehensive certifications preferred.
- Strong disciplinary and organizational skills.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and promote a safe and secure learning environment.
- Apply protective or injury-preventive devices, such as tape, bandages, and braces.
- Recognize and evaluate injuries.
- Provide first aid or emergency care.
- Develop and carry out rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.
- Plan and implement comprehensive programs to prevent injury and illness among athletes.
- Organize Doctors for Football Games
- Keep records of Student Athletes Physicals
- Attend All Football Games: Home and Away
- Attend Contact Sporting Events
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 1:00 PM- 7:00 PM. Adjusted during evening Football Games
Saturday Morning Fall Football Practice (August- November)
Salary:
REA Salary Guide Range
Step 1 BA: $55,526.00 to Step 21: MA+30 $102,176.00
