Part-Time School Custodian

Campus Community School is a K-8 charter school in Dover, DE. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented part-time Custodian to join our after school cleaning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the building, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. The potential hours are Monday-Friday, 5:30 - 9:30. The starting pay for this position are $16.00/hour.

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas are kept clean and orderly.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, and buffing as needed.
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks to uphold safety standards and cleanliness in work environments.
• Assist with custodial duties such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfection.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and equipment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
