Description

Holland Public Schools is located in Holland, Michigan. The district has four elementary schools, one middle school and one high school and has an enrollment of approximately 3000 students.  We offer a dual language immersion program in Spanish in grades K-8.  Holland Public Schools has a diverse student population with approximately 47% Latinx, 9% Black, 6% Multiracial, 3 % Asian and 35% White and approximately 64% free and reduced lunch.

Holland is located on the shores of Lake Michigan with an inlet lake, Lake Macatawa. Title:                       Lunch and Playground Supervisor
Location:               Holland Heights Elementary (@ Longfellow School)
Terms:                    School Year: 2 hours/ day, Monday - Friday
Hours:                    10:45 AM - 12:45 PM
Compensation:      $15.00/ hour
 

Qualifications: The person selected for this position will be the one who offers the best combination of training, experience and attributes in accordance with the following:
  • Supervise students in lunch and at recess.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with students, staff, public, and administrators.
  • Reinforce desired student behaviors and provide corrective feedback for unacceptable student behavior.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to project a positive and professional outlook, manner and appearance.
  • Ability to demonstrate mature judgment, reliability, availability and ethical behavior, including punctuality and confidentiality.
  • Spanish communication skills a plus.
  • Must meet the requirement of School Safety Legislation – 2005 PA 129-131 and 139 (Complete FBI Fingerprints required).
  • Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job
