Hours: 2:40pm-3:40pm Monday-Friday
Program: Bridge to Success - Online Credit Recovery Program
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Location: Northern Career Institute - Willoughby
About the Program: Bridge to Success is an online credit recovery program aimed at helping students achieve their academic goals. We are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable tutors to support students in person as they work to regain credits through Edmentum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions in person.
- Assist students in understanding course material, completing assignments, and preparing for assessments.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to both students and program coordinators.
- Collaborate with other tutors and program staff to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment.
- Contact students and parents via phone and email.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly through online coursework.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students.
- Proficiency in using online learning platforms and tools.
