Equine Custodian - Laurel Oaks (Part-Time)

REQUIREMENTS: 
Knowledge and ability to work with horses.
High school diploma.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Feed and water horses, clean stalls
• Turn out and recover of horses
• Lunge and exercise horses
• Working with younger horses - leading, lunging, exercising
• Administer supplements
• Administer medication as needed
• Recognize illness and injury of horses
• Operate tractor with manure spreader
• Perform visual inspections of fences and paddocks
• Other duties may be assigned
• A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment

POSITION AVAILABILITY:   Immediately

SALARY:  $18.58 per hour
 HOURS:  5-10 hours per week
                 Weekdays, weekends, holidays-required
