Special Education Aide (Part-Time)

| Up to 29 hrs./week | |
| Requirements: | High School Diploma or equivalent |
| Additional Qualifications: | 60 college credits OR passed ParaPro Assessment preferred |
| Job Goal: | To assist the classroom teacher by working with individual and small groups of disabled students to provide them with physical help and emotional support as needed to gain optimum benefit from the district’s special education program. |
| Salary: | Following established JTEA Salary Guide ranging from $25.39/hr. – $26.51/hr. |
| Benefits: |
All Instructional Aides receive Sick and Personal Illness days. Instructional Aides working twenty (20) hours or more also receive Family Illness days.
