The Boyertown Area School District Board of Directors is actively seeking a dynamic individual with integrity, visionary leadership, exceptional communication skills, and outstanding business and administrative abilities to lead a district serving over 6,500 students with a budget of $139,167,044 for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The Board is searching for a candidate who provides visionary leadership in alignment with the District’s vision statement, “Cultivating an exceptional, innovative learning community that enables all students to succeed in a changing world.” The successful candidate will oversee the effective management of district resources, including financial, human, and technological assets. The district is seeking an exceptional leader who has a proven track record of fostering a culture of academic excellence and student success through innovative instructional practices and curriculum development.
Key Qualifications:
· Experience in achieving high academic performance
· Experience in making sound school finance decisions
· Outstanding business and administrative abilities
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong leadership ability
· Experience with the development and implementation of curriculum
· Knowledge of educational and technological best practices
· Ensure accountability at all levels of the organization, promoting a collaborative and supportive environment for staff and students
· Experience in engaging actively with the community to promote positive relationships and partnerships that enhance student learning and well-being
Experience and Certification Requirements:
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in education, required
· Experience serving in a role in central administration, required
· Experience serving in the role of a superintendent, preferred
· Doctorate degree, preferred
· PA Superintendent Letter of Eligibility
