Instructional Support
Description
This is a 10-month position; paraprofessionals are slated to work for 6.5 hours per day, Monday - Friday.
Qualifications:
- Job related experience is desired
- Targeted, job-related education with study in a job-related area
- Illinois Educator License with Stipulations (Para), Substitute Teaching License or Professional Educator License required
Compensation and Benefits:(2024-2025 school year)
Minimum starting salary with a license - $29,221.73

ISBE offers a short-approval para professional license for those with a high school diploma (or equivalent), which is good for 3 years while completing the requirements for a full paraprofessional license.
