Description

Position Title: Student Support AM (MORNING)
Reports to: Adult Education Director
 
SUMMARY: To provide in person support to the Adult Education Program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Provide ESL student support (under the guidance of the teacher) with Burlington English.
  • Perform other duties as required by supervisors.
  • Answer student/staff/public inquiries in person and via telephone.
 
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience with Burlington English
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Spanish speaking is preferred
EXPECTATIONS:

Staff assigned to these positions is expected to perform their duties with the following expectations in mind:
  1. All supervisory responsibilities must be fulfilled. In particular, clients must be supervised at all times.
  2. Ability to apply common sense and deal with problems in a practical and reasonable manner.
  3. Ability to perform duties with all district guidelines and policies in mind.
  4. Knowledge of and/or experience in the activity.
  5. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position that may vary widely depending on the activity.

SALARY: $25.00/hour
 
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time- MORNINGS 9:30am-12:00pm  (2 days a week)
 
STARTING DATE: 24-25 SY
